Police in Arua are holding eight people in connection with an attempted raid on the home of Amato Boroa, the Terego East County Forum for Democratic Change-FDC party, parliamentary candidate.

According to Angucia, police swung into action after receiving a call from Boroa indicating that some people had stormed his home to kill him.

Angucia declined to reveal the identities of the suspect, given the sensitivity of the matter.  Our reporter couldn't speak to Amato Boroa since his contacts are not known.
