Serere Police are holding 8 people in connection to the gruesome killing of 50-year-old Robert Etodu, a resident of Okokoma village in Bugondo Sub County.
 

He was gunned down by unidentified assailants at a drinking joint in Enomainos Trading Centre on January 7, 2019. Michael Odongo, the East Kyoga Region Police Spokesperson, says the assailants shot the deceased three times in the stomach before cutting his neck.
 
 
Odongo says a stray bullet hit Richard Ekeju who is still admitted at Apapai Health Centre IV. He says police visited the crime scene on Friday and picked up 8 suspects to aid police investigations into the murder.
