Uganda and Regional Cecafa Kagame Cup champions, Police FC have renewed contracts with eight key players. The eight players are goal keeper, Hannington Kalyesubula, team captain, David Yiga, Lawrence Ssegawa, Dan Mubiru Muzamiru Nanik, Umar Kasule, Siraje Ssevuma and Juma Lubega. Police FC head coach, Sam Timbe was happy with the players' decision to stay with the club for two more years. He said the contracts will be sent to the Federation of Uganda Football Associations-FUFA for approval before the deal is sealed. Police did Uganda proud a couple of weeks ago by lifting the lucrative regional tournament that was played in Tanzania after a 2-1 victory over Morogoro from the hosting nation. It was also Timbe's second regional victory in two consecutive years as coach after his former club SC Villa also won it in 2005.
