Just Kip Living (JKL) Dolphins on Sunday evening stopped five times champions, Falcons 68-53 to register their first win in the national basketball league. The JKL side joined the national basketball league this season after emerging winner of the 2nd division.

In a game played at the Lugogo MTN Arena, the dolphins scored 22-15 in the first quarter before the falcon's side made a comeback to fetch a slim 34-32 lead in the second quarter.

JKL however put in an aggressive third and fourth quarter to lead 47-41 and 68-53 respectively. JKL's Makala Libe made a game high 17 points while Falcons Bernard Okumu made 16 points.

In the other game, KIU Titans struggled to beat Ndejje University Angels 69-66 in a tight encounter for the day. Chris Basheke made a game high 22 points for KIU while Michael Otieno made 19 points for Ndejje Angels.

In other games, Uganda Christian University Canons edged Sharing Youth 64-56 while Javon Ladies stopped Gladiators 52-42.
