KCCA FC's first choice goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan will need a fitness test on Saturday ahead of a CAF Total Confederations Cup game against FUS Rabat on Sunday.

Head coach Mike Hillary Mutebi told URN after the morning training session on Friday that the medical team will assess Ochan on Saturday to see if he is fit for the game against the Moroccan side.

"He has been responding well to the treatment and the light drills. But we can only determine if he will play by Saturday," added the coach. The goalkeeper seemed uncomfortable during some drills at the training ground.

The Azam Uganda Premier League champions will need a win to improve their chances of making it to the quarter final stage of the competition. Although FUS Rabat top group A, all the four teams including KCCA FC, Club Africian (Tunisia) and Nigeria's Rivers United FC have six points.

Although Mutebi did not disclose what kind of injury unsettling Ochan, he added that he has the best squad to face the group A table leaders. "I am happy with the squad I have and it will be nice to win that game with a 2-0 goal margin because we have conceded more goals than any team in the group," he added.

The coach boosted that with midfielder Saddam Ibrahim Juma starting his first competitive game since being cleared by the Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) this week, together with Muzamil Mutyaba, Geoffrey Sserunkuma and Derrick  Nsibambi he believes the attack will be sharp.

KCCA FC are currently bottom of the group after they lost their last game 2-1 away to Rivers United FC. They will play their last group game away to Club Africain on July 7th.
