Business and transport has been distracted this morning by a heavy downpour that triggered massive flooding in parts of Kampala.

The down pour that that started at 4am left trenches overfilled, roads impassable and houses are submerged in water in the suburbs of Kyebando, Bwaise, Kamwokya, Mulago and Kalerwe. Some temporary bridges were also washed away.

URN brings you some of the sights in Kampala today.
