FUFAs unfulfilled promises for Football development are threatening to choke regional football. During his election campaign two years ago, Lawrence Mulindwa, FUFA president said that if elected he would revolutionalize football in the country. He also promised that he will give Western Uganda a priority, for its potential as a source for talent. Today, Mulindwa begins his tour of western Uganda, amid discontent about the dismal performance and presence in the region. Several people are unhappy about FUFAs failure to boost the regional Youth football structures. In Kabale, Richman Mugisha, Mountain Gorilla FC coach says it has been difficult to tap talent over the past two years due to lack of funds to venture into the rural areas. Mugisha says that it's crucial for the FUFA to asses the needs of the regional football associations on his tour of the regions. //Cue in: May be now # Cue out: #for affiliation fee.// Joan Arimpa, the Tereza Mbiire Women's club coach, says she will put the FUFA president to task to explain his plans for women soccer. Arimpa who trained in Rwanda, says the Rwanda football federation sponsors all women clubs to motivate talent.
