KCCA FC, fresh from qualifying for the group stage of the CAF Total Confederations Cup where they ejected Egypt's Al Masry last weekend have vowed to play their hearts out to maintain their grip on the League trophy.

On Tuesday they were held to a 2-all draw by URA FC to take them top of the table with the same 47 points like their rivals SC Villa, but with a superior goal advantage.

"We are going to play the game against Villa with a lot of caution because these last games in the League mean so much to us," said KCCA FC coach, Mike Mutebi before leaving for Masaka on Friday.

The defending champions will hope that their leading striker Geoffrey Sserunkuma (16 goals) and Derrick Nsibambi can find the goals, while SC Villa will have all eyes on Emmanuel Okwi who recently returned from Denmark after failing to settle in at the professional level.

The other games on card today will see Arua based Onduparaka FC host Sadolin Paints FC at the Green Light Stadium, while Bidco FC take on Lweza FC.

On Friday Vipers SC moved to fifth place after a 2-0 victory over Soana FC. Tony Odur scored the two goals at the St. Marys Stadium. Proline FC and The Saints FC settled for a 1-1 draw in a match played at the Bombo Barracks ground. Suliaman Majanjaalo scored early in the 28th minute for the hosts, while Proline FC leveled matters after 69 minutes through Fahad Bayo.
