She says Ham Enterprises will now develop the place that they rightfully own following the eviction of the illegitimate vendors. Following Kamya's presentation, the speaker, Rebecca Kadaga tasked her to present the list of the relocated vendors detailing where they are within a week's time.
"The poor are being pushed to the corner and we cannot accept this to happen. We had Shimoni and Naguru but these were all taken by developers, where have all these women and poor people gone. We cannot continue treating people as if they are rubbish," said Kadaga.
Muhammad Sebaduka, the chairman Park Yard Market vendors says as it stands they have lost but they have to move forward.
Emmanuel Mukasa the spokesperson Parkyard market says although they are being relocated, Government should come up with a plan for them as many of them have lost their merchandise.
He also states that apart from suffering several fire outbreaks, they have suffered loses resulting from the brutal eviction.
