Hundreds of mourners on Sunday turned up at St Andrews Catholic Church in Ntinda to pray for the fallen police Spokesperson AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi.

The Assistant Inspector General of Police Kaweesi was shot by unknown gunmen as he left his home in Kulambiro, a suburb of Kampala on Friday morning.

He was killed alongside his driver Godfrey Mambewa and bodyguard Kenneth Erau. Police and other security agencies have embarked on a hunt for killers who were reportedly using a motorcycle.

A cross section of citizens ranging from politicians, security personnel, religious leaders and friends and families of the deceased prayed for Kaweesi.

URN brings you pictures of the mourners who turned up in huge numbers.
