The party has rescheduled the delegates' conference to take place on August 20th by which time, the grassroots elections are expected to have been completed.
The party failed to hold district elections for delegates in the districts of Kiboga, Lira, Apac, Moroto and Kasese among others.
JEEMA's constitution requires that all districts in the country must have representation during the national delegates' conference without which the delegates' conference cannot hold.
He says that process of campaigns for the elective positions is going on smoothly with three party members currently campaigning for the position of party president including the incumbent Sulaiman Basalirwa, Dr. Rashid Kasaato who is currently in the United States and Ssentengo A.M Kyamundu.
