The youth say it is time for them to take charge of issues that affect them, and they do not want the president to visit when the town is dirty.

Youth in Kabale town subscribing to the National Resistance Movement party on Wednesday cleaned Kabale streets, ahead of a visit by presidential candidate Yoweri Museveni.

Led by Kabale District Youth chairperson, John Bosco Arinaitwe, the youth turned up in large numbers and embarked on cleaning of the streets to ensure that town is clean before the president arrives.

Arinaitwe says the opposition has been trying to take advantage of the youth and that it is time to say not to lies.
