Uhuru Kenyatta to Address Uganda Parliament

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to address Uganda Parliament on Friday this week.Uhuru Kenyatta was set to address Parliament last June but his trip was postponed.

Now Deputy Speaker of Parliament Jacob Oulanyah confirms that Uhuru Kenyatta will be in Uganda to address Parliament on Friday 7th  August.

Speaker of Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga had earlier noted during the State of the Nation Address in June that Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta while on a state visit in Uganda between June 22nd and 25th would be addressing the Ugandan Parliament.

Government Chief Whip, Ruth Nankabirwa says the visiting President is likely to address Parliament about immigration and trade between the two countries.
