In a statement released on Friday evening at around 07:00 PM and signed by Betrand Bisimwa, the M23 rebels’ president, rebels request a meeting with the mediator in order to discuss the matter of its concerns. M23 also allege that they have received information that the DR Congo government is planning a genocide adding that they shall not stand and witness the slaughtering of civilians.
