Ivan Lubaale netted the lone goal to give CRO FC their second win in the League, but they still stayed bottom of the log with a point less than Entebbe FC. "It feels good to beat a big team like Villa," said goal scorer Lubaale after the game.
 
Sports Club Victoria University maintained their lead on the log after a 1-all draw with Police FC at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole. Mike Sserunkuma gave the University side the lead in the 25th minute before Ben Ocen leveled matters. It was Coach Morley Byekwaso’s second straight draw with SC Victoria University who now lead the table with 27 points.
 
The draw for the University side benefited Vipers SC who closed the gap to one point after their 4-0 thumping of Soana FC. Joseph Mpande, Simon Sserunkuma, Mike Mutyaba and youngster Yunus Ssentamu scored for the Vipers team.
 
In the other League matches played, Entebbe FC settled for a 2-all draw against Bright Stars, while visiting Express FC lost 2-0 away to Masala LC FC with Samuel Kayongo and Ronald Lukungu netting the goals. Action in the League will continue on Friday with four matches on card.
