In short
A mother and daughter have been arrested in Masaka for conspiring to kill the girl's father. The women accuse the deceased of raping the girl and preying on all the three daughters in the family over the years.

An 18-year-old girl has been arrested in Masaka for killing her father with the help of her mother.
The mother and daughter were picked up by police from their home this morning.
The suspects are Hafuwa Namata (18) and her mother Halima Nalukwago Narwadda.
Namata confessed to killing her father Ahmed Majwala at their home in Nyendo-Kasana village last night.
She claims she attacked her father with a panga after he had raped her in their house at 4am.
Namata claims that her father first defiled her when she was 16 years old.
Her claim was backed up by her mother Narwadda who added that Majwaala (60) had habitually preyed on their three daughters. The couple has seven children.
Narwadda went on to claim that Majwala had impregnated their three daughters while they were still living in Kyazanga town.  Narwadda claims that they lived in Kyazanga town for over 20 years before the family shifted to Kasana zone in Masaka.
Narwadda admitted to helping her daughter to kill her father. She said that she came to her daughter's aid when she heard Majwaala screaming after Namatta had hacked him with a panga.
Namata says she waited for her father to enter her room and when he raped her, she retaliated by attacking him.
Badru Kasozi, the officer in Charge of Masaka Central Police Station, says the suspects are currently being held there.
Kasozi says that police found Majwala had been nearly decapitated during the attack. Police believe he died due to excessive bleeding as no attempt was made to rush him to a medical facility.
Kasozi says a DNA test will be conducted on Namatta to ascertain if she is Majwala's daughter and if indeed the deceased had been engaged in incest.
He says the suspects face murder charges once investigations are completed.

Ahmed Majwala’s body has been taken to Masaka Regional Referral Hospital for post mortem.

Majwala was a businessman in Nyendo town.

Correction: Name of the deceased was corrected from Majwaala to Majwala
