Gimara Sub-County is comprised of five parishes, each of which is entitled to 13 animals.

William Komakech, the Moyo Resident District Commissioner, says the district received 573 cows for distribution to selected beneficiaries.

 He however, says they realised a shortfall in the animals allocated to Gimara Sub-County prompting him to direct the Veterinary Officer to suspend the distribution of the animals until the anomaly is settled.
