This was in a message delivered for him by the Prime Minister Dr Ruhakana Rugunda during the 24th coronation anniversary at the kingdom palace Karuziika in Hoima town today.

Museveni says the NRM   government has enjoyed a good cordial relationship with the kingdom since the restoration of Bunyoro Kitara Kingdom in 1994 and urged cultural leaders across the country to use their positions to unite their subjects and promote peace and cultural values.

Museveni challenged Omukama Iguru to mobilize his subjects to ensure that they improve their household incomes by supporting government projects. He says the people of Bunyoro should take advantage of the oil activities taking place in the area to cause developmental changes in the region.
