Muntu was responding to a question from Isaac Bongomin, a delegate from Masindi district who asked the FDC presidential aspirant on what strategies he has to consolidate power in case he assumes the presidency.

Muntu said building party structures and ensuring that the party fields candidates at all levels is his major strategy. He says without party structures and key representation at various levels, it would be difficult for the party to assume power and consolidate it.
