This morning, President Museveni went to Namungoona at the inferno scene and reportedly assessed the possible causative factors. He cautioned youth against being lured into temptations of getting free things at the expense of endangering their lives as was the case at the accident scene.

Describing the incident as unfortunate, he cautioned youth to concentrate on productive activities like urban farming and other income generating projects. The President also visited Mulago hospital to express his sympathies with the victims. If the total number of both killed and injured victims still stands at 63 in total, government will be spending 315 million shillings.
