NRM Wins Pader, Agago LC V Seats

The election didnt go without any drama. Innocensia Akello, a presiding officer at Olwor Nguu A-A polling Station was arrested for multiple voting.

Godfrey Oringa Largo, is the winner of the Pader district LC V chairperson seat and Leonard Ojok,took the LC V chairperson seat Agago district. The two are members of the National Resistance Movement-NRM party.

Joseph Omona, the Pader district returning officer, declared Oringa elected with 13,060 votes and followed by independent contestant John Richard Otema with 9,438 votes. 
The Democratic Party candidate, Vincent Obutu polled 6,064 votes while the Forum for Democratic Change party candidate, Justine Ocan came last with 2,622 votes.

Leonard Ojok, who took the LC V chairperson seat for Agago district polled 22,180 votes followed by his FDC rival, George Odong Otto who polled 11,583 votes. John Wilfred Ateng Okello, an independent candidate came third with 6,714 votes followed by Simon Ojok Odoch with 1,688 votes.
