Second placed Onduparaka FC have warned that they will be all out to pick maximum points against defending champions KCCA FC when the two sides clash this afternoon in a Azam Uganda Premier League tie.

"We need to maintain the good start to the League. We know they beat us 7-0 at their Stadium last season and we need to avenge that by getting a win," Onduparaka FC coach Livingstone Mbabazi told URN.

In the absence of striker Muhammad Shaban who is set to leave the Club, Ceasar Okuthi who has already netted two goals in two games will lead the Arua based team at the StarTimes Stadium in what is expected to be a thriller.

Onduparaka FC are second on the log with four points just like Police FC, SC Villa, Kirinya Jinja SSS FC, Mbarara City FC and Vipers SC who also have a similar number of points.

But the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Football Club, Mike Hillary Mutebi whose team is 10th on the log said this is a game they must win to restore some confidence among the team. "We are not worried but concerned our failure to kill off games," Mutebi told URN.

The defending champions have struggled to show their attacking and scoring prowess after opening the season with a barren draw against debutants Maroons FC last week and a 1-1 draw away to army side UPDF FC last weekend. Saddam Juma who was signed form rivals Express FC towards the close of last season will miss the game due to injury.

Team captain Denis Okot also made it clear that he is very confident KCCA FC will register a win on Tuesday. "We shall win this game," he assured the fans.

KCCA FC has struggled since the season started after they lost some key players like Geoffrey Sserunkuma (last year's top scorer) who joined Zambia's Buildcon FC, Brian Majwega, Tom Masiko and Ivan Ntege.

The other games on card on Tuesday will see Mbarara City FC host Bright Stars at the Kakyeka Stadium, while Maroons FC face URA FC and Soana FC battle Masavu FC at the Kavumba Recreation Centre.
