Parliament has honored the national football team, the Uganda Cranes, for their victory in the recent victory in the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup. Dennis Obua, the northern region youth Member of Parliament, on Tuesday moved a motion to honor the Uganda Cranes. In his motion he called for increased government support of the team. The Uganda Cranes attended the parliamentary session, most of them for their first time. They were led to the house by FUFA chief executive officer Edgar Watson and team coach, Bobby Williamson. The Cranes Technical Advisor, Jackson Mayanja, said the recognition by parliament was a great tribute. He said the team needs even greater support to help it regain its former glory. //Cue in: iThe Cranes has been #i Cue out: i# has been before.i//
