Patricia Apolot on Friday defended her national champion kickboxing title.
 
Following the win, Apolot remains the women's light weight champion, after beating Jackie Nasimbwa through a technical knockout in the 5th round.
 
The fight was staged the Kampala MTN arena.
 
Apart from retaining the title, Gordon Wavamuno, also gave her 5 million shillings in cash, while Juma Seiko gave her 500,000 shilling in cash. The win gives Patricia a chance to participate in international fights.
 
In the men’s fight, Uganda's Alex Matsiko won the international Uganda K-1 title after beating Hungary's Istvan Scucs. The win means that Mtsiko has now entered the world lightweight rankings of the World Kick boxing federation.
 
The games ended at round 2 am.
