Comments 1040 Views Kampala, Uganda

Former Archbishop Livingstone Mpalanyi Nkoyoyo's journey to his final resting place started on Sunday with two requiem Services held at All Saints Cathedral, Nakasero and later at St. Paul's Cathedral Namirembe .

He died from pneumonia at Kampala Hospital where he had been undergoing treatment. In early 2017, Archbishop Nkoyoyo underwent successful treatment for cancer in the United Kingdom.

Nkoyoyo is to be buried on Tuesday at Namugongo Anglican Martyrs Shrine near the museum which he has been working hard to complete. At the same venue, on June 3, 1969, Nkoyoyo was ordained.

Uganda Radio Network brings you pictures from the first two requiem services held for Nkoyoyo in Kampala.
