Elections of the Bunyangabu District Interim LCV Chairperson were held on Monday at the district headquarters in Kibiito.  Valley Kanzira the Kabarole district returning officer declared Peter Musinguzi the winner.

Musinguzi polled nine votes against five of his rival, Moses Ikagobya the former Vice Chairperson Kabarole district. Fourteen councillors elected the interim chairperson.
