An exciting top-class performance by the Inner Mongolia Bureau of National Art Troupe was the climax of the Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations at Makerere University.
The event which as organized by the Confucius Institute at Makerere University, attracted hundreds of students and many other Ugandan locals.
The gala featured performance of a Ugandan song Malaika, among other folk music, dance, acrobatic and martial arts.
This part of the Chinese New Year celebrations, which will officially be on Friday February 16. This upcoming year is 'The-Year-of-the-Dog' with celebrations starting on February 16, 2018, and ending on March 2, making this the longest holiday in the Chinese calendar.
