Pictorial: General Sejusa Appears Before the Court Martial, Remanded to Luzira Prison

On Tuesday afternoon, the General Court Martial Chaired by Maj Gen Levy Karuhanga remanded General David Sejusa to Luzira Prison after being charged with absence without leave, participation in political party activities and insubordination.

Sejusa who was arrested on Sunday from his home in Naguru by the military police was defended in the court martial by a legal team of ten led by lawyer David Bukyale.

His lawyers failed to secure for him bail as the Court Martial Chair Maj Gen Karuhanga insisted that the application be made formerly.
