On Friday evening, Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi of Buganda hosted guests during a Christmas Carols event at the Kingdom's administration offices, Bulange, Mengo.

The Church of Uganda spearheaded the Christmas Carols event where several church choirs under Namirembe Diocese took to the stage and entertained the King with Christmas Songs ahead of Christmas next week.

In his opening prayer, the Bishop of Namirembe Diocese Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira prayed for the Kingdom, Kabaka Mutebi's life and peace throughout the Christmas season.

Kabaka Mutebi lit a Christmas tree at the event, recognised outstanding staff in different organisations of the Kingdom and later served his subjects majorly staff of the Kingdom's different organisations with roasted beef.
