A police deserter and two others in Mbarara are in trouble for shooting dead one person and robbing a businessman Shillings 110,600,000 Million. The suspects are Moses Kanyomozi alias Paddy formerly attached to Kitintale Police post in Kampala, Edison Keish from Rukungiri and Didas Tindebwa, a resident of Kamwenge district.
 
 
The trio has been on the run since 15 February 2016. Taban Kiringa, the Officer in Charge of Criminal Intelligence and Investigations Mbarara Central Police Station, says the trio and two police officers still at large are wanted for attacking Prof. Hosia Muhanguzi and his employee Agatha Tukamushaba on their way to Crane bank along high street in Mbarara on February 15th.
 

Muhanguzi is the proprietor of Hosma book shop along Mbaguta Street. According to Kiringa, during the attack, during the attack the suspects ran off with a box containing Shillings 110 million and shot dead Kakoza Tumusiime. He says after the robbery, the trio drove off leaving behind their colleague shooting in the air.
 

He was cornered and lynched by residents. According to Kiringa, they have been hunting for the suspects until last week when they picked up of the gang members along Busaabala road in the city suburbs operating a saloon. He says two other suspects were picked up from Isabella bar in Kampala.

According to Ssekate, once apprehended the suspects will be charged with aggravated robbery under CRB 393/2016. He advises members of the business community to contact police for security whenever they transport huge sums. The case is registered at Mbarara police station under.
