Sulaiman Kakaire, the head of Bugweri County royal council also accuses Kyalya of organizing parallel elections which is contrary to Busoga and Bugweri county constitution.

Kakaire says the move to install parallel leaders is aimed at reducing the number of voters in support of William Gabula one of the candidates from Bugabula county of Busoga for the position of Kyabazinga of Busoga once fresh elections are organized.

Maureen Walube Kyalya rubbishes all the accusations put at her saying that she has always been blamed for attempting to install a new Kyabazinga for Busoga which is not true.

Busoga kingdom was plunged into power rivalry after the death of His Royal Highness Henry Wako Muloki in 2008. Since then two unlawful elections for a new Kyabazinga have been held in vain.

Factionalism continues among the 11 Chiefs who must elect a new Kyabazinga after a new Lukiiko and new constitution for Busoga kingdom are put in place.
