Uganda Prisons will this afternoon take on TLC in the final campaign of the National Netball League with an aim of securing second place as the league comes to an end at Nakivubo stadium.
Prisons, who won their last weekend game by a walk over against debutantes Kawempe workers after their opponents failed to honour their schedule, have so far registered only two loses against National Insurance Corporation (NIC) in the league.
Goal shooter Florence Nanyonga, a star player for Prisons told URN that their previous defeats have taught them valuable lessons and they plan to work on combinations to get today's win.
Prison suffered a painful defeat against their arch rivals NIC a few weeks back to record 34 points, but are looking to bounce overcome that defeat.
NIC are currently leading the table with 40 points following their unbeaten run this season. They have won the crown 15 times since 1998 but lost to Uganda Posta in 2000 and to Prisons in 2011.
The winning teams in both the male and female categories will be crowned this evening after the games.
