Uganda took an early lead through Pius Ogena's try at the Kyadondo ground, but Philip Wokorach failed to convert. Later the visitors picked two tries from Theuns Kotze scored two tries and Rohan Kitshoff picked one after running rings around the Ugandan team.


Wokorach soon made a good kick that he followed well and dived to score Uganda's second try to reduce Namibia's lead. The good passing Namibian team took a 21-12 lead at half time.

In the second half Chrysander Botha increased Namibia's lead with another try that Kotze failed to convert. Joseph Oredo and Wokorach picked more tries for Uganda, but the visiting Namibian side proved too strong as they continued to score at will.


John Greyling also scored a try for Namibia and the in-form Kotze converted. "It was hard luck because we got into the game late. But we shall plan and win the next game away to Zimbabwe," said Uganda's Wokorach after the game.


Davies Philip Thomas, Namibia's coach said he was happy his team followed instructions and won the game. The Welsh born coach they will now concentrate on training hard to beat Kenya later this month.  The Rugby Cranes will now face Zimbabwe away on July 16.
