Head coach Tolbert Onyango was also optimistic that his team will put up a better show. "We are a better prepared team now with some experience after playing in Hong Kong, Germany and defending the Africa 7s title," added Onyango.

The coach told URN that his team has gained lots of ground interms of their approach, player development, experience and the drive to win. "We are a totally different side than last year," added the former Kenyan international.
