Head Coach Morley Byekwaso said they decided the best way was to send Serumaga away from the camp because such behaviour cannot be entertained.

SC Victoria University will travel to Lubumbashi, in the Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday morning. They face CS Don Bosco the next day in the first leg of the Confederations Cup preliminary round. Last week the team also suspended two Cranes players Dennis Iguma and Savio Kabugo for failing to report to camp after the national team had returned form the Africa Nations Championship in South Africa.

After stripping Iguma of the captaincy, defender Martin Mpuuga is now the skipper, while goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan is the assistant.

Serumaga who has been in and out of the national team has also played professional football in Sweden, Ethiopia and Rwanda.
