Giants Sports Club Villa and KCCA FC will face-off this afternoon in a replay of the Uganda Cup at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

The first game at Kyamate ground in Ntungamo on June 6th aborted after 72 minutes with SC Villa leading 1-0 following Erisa Sekisambu's penalty.

The match ended prematurely after KCCA fans stormed the pitch protesting centre referee Robert Donney's decisions. FUFA under the leadership of Moses Magogo ordered for a replay following the fiasco in Ntungamo.

However KCCA FC will be a depleted side with four players missing after they were sent off in the first game. The two giants have met three times in the finals with KCCA FC winning twice (1987 and 1990), while SC Villa once (1983).

Under pressure KCCA FC Coach Abudallah Mubiru told URN on Monday that they are ready for the game and hope that this time it will be fair play. Mubiru said his team has prepared well and will go all out to try and win the trophy.

Lead striker Herman Wasswa will be the man to watch for the KCCA FC side, while Chrizestom Ntambi and Cranes midfielder Hassan Wasswa Mawanda will be key for SC Villa.

After the Ntungamo fiaco, Fufa has brought in Kenyan referees Oliver Omondo Odhiambo (Referee) to be assisted by Andrew Juma Otieno and Tony Mudayi Kidiya. The wining team will represent Uganda in the 2016 CAF Confederations Cup.
