Three students who allegedly stole laboratory equipment from Jinja Senior Secondary School, risk not completing their "O" level exams.
The suspects allegedly stole copper pipes and test tubes form the laboratory and sold them to scrap dealers in Jinja town.
Dinah Nyago, the school head teacher says that the suspects were caught red handed selling the stolen equipment in town.
The heard teacher says that the schools disciplinary committee has resolved to dismiss the students, despite the fact that they have been sitting their final national exams.
Efforts by Apollo Bwebale, the resident Distruict Commissioner, to rescind the disciplinary committee's decision fell on deaf ears.
The head teacher maintained that she is not ready to compromise her principles of dealing with errant students who have in the past painted a bad image of the school.
The head teacher says that she would rather resign, than allow the errant students in her school.
