Sports Club Villa on Tuesday morning unveiled new Spanish coach Antonio Flores during a ceremony at the Pope Paul Memorial centre.

Ben Immanuel Misagga, the Club President said they were delighted to have a highly qualified and experienced coach to join the team. He explained that the new coach will impart new knowledge in the way a club is managed and also help link players to Europe.

Flores is a UEFA Pro Coaching license holder and was previously assistant coach of Spanish third Division side, CD Roquetas.

The Spanish coach said he was happy to be in Uganda to start a new project with a youthful team. "The new coach will start handling the team on Wednesday," revealed Misagga.

SC Villa are Uganda's most successful having lifted the Uganda League trophy a record 16 times and the Uganda Cup nine times. They finished second in the 2014/2015 Azam Uganda Premier League before winning the Uganda Cup which gives them an automatic ticket to represent Uganda in the 2016 CAF Confederations Cup.
