Now some of the leaders in Teso want the appointing authority to consider getting replacement from the sub region.

At the burial of Egunyu on Saturday, Ben Eumu, the Ngora District chairperson Ngora, district said Teso has lost two great leaders and that the sub region ought to be considered when the president appoints new advisors.

Soroti Municipality MP Capt. Mike Mukula said losing two influential people in just one week is a big blow for the region. Mukula, the vice chairperson the ruling NRM party in Eastern Region, appealed to the people of Teso to unite and stop pointing fingers at each other.

Mukula said that before his death Bishop Ilukor had advised the politicians to unite for the good of the area.
