Stephen Rwagweri, the director Engabu Za Tooro an NGO that promotes culture in Tooro Kingdom has been re-arrested over a 33m shillings debt.
 
Rwagweri was arrested on Friday evening from Fuelex petrol station Restaurant along the Fort Portal-Bwamba road.
 
Rwagweri was first arrested at Kijaguzo hotel in Kabundaire Fort Portal in July, 2011 and taken to Kampala but released on court bail after his lawyers Kahwa and Kafuzi Co Advocate stood surety for him.

Rwagweri was arrested on Friday evening from Fuelex petrol station Restaurant along the Fort Portal-Bwamba road.
 
Rwagweri was first arrested at Kijaguzo hotel in Kabundaire Fort Portal in July, 2011 and taken to Kampala but released on court bail after his lawyers Kahwa and Kafuzi Co Advocate stood surety for him.
 
He agreed to clear the amount by 25th August 2011 but failed.
 
Rwagweri is accused of failing to pay 33 million shillings to Barozi Printers and Stationary in Kampala. The stationary printed books about the culture of Tooro. The books were part of a consignment that he was to be taken to the United States of America for a culture expedition.

Joseph Kihamba, the District Police Commander Kabarole, says Rwagweri who is now detained at Old Kampala police station will appear in High court Kampala on Monday.
