Bakari Mugga, the Rwenzori Regional Police spokesperson says they are hunting for Hassan Mugisha, a resident of the same village as the prime suspect in the Monday incident.  He says preliminary investigations show that Mugisha was unhappy that Goret sacked him from the farm last week, for the theft of her property and hired her cousins.

He says Mugisha was seen around the farm at 2pm on Monday, which raises suspicion that he could have been behind the murder.  Mugisha is still at large. John-Mary Goret, the proprietor of the farm told police that she found the duo lying in a pool of blood on the farm when she went to check on them.

Maatiya Muhyana, a relative of the deceased says Muhindo and Bwambale, have been working on different farms in Kabarole district for nearly one year. He says it is tragic to hear that the two hardworking youths have met their death while at work away from home.

Stephen Muthekengwa, the Mahango LC 3 Chairperson, where the two hail from, has regretted the death of the two youths saying it is painful.
