Two Pupils Injured in Bomb Explosion

Two pupils of Otwee Public Primary School in Amuru district are nursing injuries St. Mary`s Hospital Lacor, Pabbo branch they sustained in a bomb blast on Sunday.

 
They are eight-year-old Ivan Kidega and eleven-year-old Joel Owiri, both residents of Cindi village in Otwee Town Council. Richard Komakech, the Otwee Town Council LC III Chairperson, says the minor were playing with the bomb when it exploded.

Recently, a team of bomb experts from Uganda People`s Defense Forces and Aswa River region detonated several bombs across Northern Uganda. 



The bombs were left behind following years of conflict between the government forces and the rebel the Lord's Resistance Army fighters.
