The Uganda Christian University Canons were in good form beating Pemba Warriors lat night to make it 1-1 in the quarter finals of the National Basketball League play-offs.
The Canons who were last week defeated by Warriors in the best of three play-offs largely dominated and won the game 76-59 at the MTN Arena, Lugogo.
UCU started off well edging Warriors 15-10 and 30-21 by the first and second quarters respectively. The canons maintained their lead in the third quarter 50-33 before finally winning 76-59.
Warriors' Jude Ochen made a game high 17 points after making his four three pointers, while UCU's Brian Namake made 16 points.
Pemba Warriors and UCU now face off in the deciding game.
Meanwhile in the ladies category, Javon Ladies again lost to A1 challenge 69-74 in the best of three playoffs after. Javon's Sylvia Nakazibwe made a game high 25 points, while A-1 Challenge's Suzan Amito made 17 points. The win means A-1 Challenge qualifies for the semi finals.
