UPC Chairman Killed Over Suspected Land Dispute

Fedinato Jjumba Kamyu, the Uganda People's Congress-UPC party chairperson in Masaka has been killed. Kamyu was found dead this morning in his coffee plantations in Kanywa village in Buwunga Sub County in Masaka district.
 
His body had multiple wounds, while some body parts were burned. His wife, Margaret Nabasaggi, the deceased left home at around 1pm on Sunday to feed his cattle but didn't return.
 
According to Nabasaggi, on realizing her husband hadn't returned home she went to check on him only to find his lifeless body in the plantations. She suspects that Kamyu could have been killed as a result of land dispute involving some residents she didn't name.
