Golf enthusiasts at the Uganda Golf Club in Kampala had an evening filled with excitement and anticipation during the grand launch of the latest Techno V Flip phone. This unique event was combined with Airtel’s IPO extension, highlighting the company’s commitment to the sport.
Techno’s sponsorship of the event included not only cash prizes but also three brand-new Techno V Flip handsets, each valued at three million shillings. These high-end phones were awarded to lucky winners through an exhilarating raffle draw.
Charles Rukundo, a prominent figure at the Uganda Golf Club, expressed his gratitude, noting that while corporate social responsibility is expected from every company, the genuine generosity displayed at this event was remarkable and reflected a sincere commitment to making a positive impact.
The excitement wasn’t limited to the raffle winners. Over ten golfers, including former minister John Byabagambi and others, received prizes, adding to the overall jubilation of the event. The highlight of the day was a captivating runway show featuring models showcasing the new phone.
