Worldwide, birds consume 400-500 million tons of insects each year. This includes insects in gardens, forests, savannas, farmland, towns, and cities. Many birds reduce the number of mosquitoes. As we prepare for this year’s World Environment Day, Uganda Radio Network is producing National perspectives on the environment and biodiversity. In this edition birding in Uganda’s Wilderness.
