- The Mentoring Program
Uganda Radio Network offers both physical and online mentoring interface on demand from partner radio stations around the country. Read more
- URN Conflict Sensitive Journalism Project
The Conflict Sensitive Journalism project was initiated by Uganda Radio Network to help train journalists and empower media organisations to play a more active role in peace building. The project is envisaged as a media driven peace building intervention targeting regional and community levels in Uganda. Read more
- Youth Debates program with Twaweza
On 16th December 2015, Twaweza East Africa contracted Uganda Radio Network (URN) to execute ninety (90) live audience debates basing on the youth manifesto developed by the Uganda Youth Network. The program was based on the Twaweza works of enabling children to learn, citizens to exercise agency and governments to be more open and responsive in Uganda. Read more here.
- The School Capitation Grant with Twaweza
With support from Twaweza, and in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Sports, URN conducts community dialogues and information sharing meetings on the School Capitation Grant to public schools in different parts of Uganda. They aim to amplify inforamtion and debate on the school Capitation Grant among the Uganda public. Read more
Health Programming for Radio with PRB
URN in partnership with Population Reference Bureau (PRB) has over the last four years engaged 20 Radio stations across the country in the collection, production and dissemination of Reproductive Health Information. Read more
