Three people including a site engineer have died in a septic tank in Komamboga Central in Kawempe division in Kampala. The area LC I Chairperson, Mukasa Nuwe Sserumaga, says that the trio might have suffocated to death.
He explained that one of the builders first descended in the septic tank to lay pipes and didn’t return prompting one of his colleagues to descend down to check what was happening.
He also didn’t return prompting the site engineer to descend into the septic tank, where he also met his death. According to Mukasa, the septic tank belongs to James Saaka, a local resident.
