Bishop Tomusange Protests Being Blocked from Accessing NUP Headquarters

Bishop William Tomusage, the head of Joy mission international ministries in Mityana speaking to journalists shortly after police and military blocked him from accessing the National Unity Platform-NUP Headquarters to pray for the departed NUP supporters.

He later picked up and driven off by security to unknown destination.  The NUP officials had organised prayers for their departed comrades and part of this year’s independence celebrations.

Earlier on joint security forcing comprising the police and military picked up the NUP Spokesperson, Joel Ssenyonyi, Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya and Fred Nyanzi Ssentamu. They were bundled in a minibus alias drone and driving to Kiira Road police Station.
