Celebrations have rocked schools across the country after posting outstanding results in last year’s Primary Leaving Examinations-PLE.
According to Dan Odongo, the Executive Director of Uganda National Examinations Board, a total of 86,582 candidates obtained division one, constituting 11.8 percent of the registered candidates, 336,507 candidates passed with division two, while 156,290 obtained Division Three.
Furthermore, 69,283 candidates registered in fourth grade. In Luwero URN visited among others Happy Times Junior School in Wobulenzi town, Sandton Junior School, New Africa Nursery, and Primary where several pupils were found in celebrations after posting outstanding results.
